Eco Friendly Printer prints books for authors and publishers on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, processed chlorine-free, with soy and vegetable-based inks. FSC-certified papers are available. We use digital printing for shorter runs and offset printing for larger runs, so the process fits the size of your order.

Paper, binding and finishes
Interior pages are commonly printed on 50lb, 60lb or 70lb uncoated text, with covers from 80lb to 150lb (16pt). Books can be perfect-bound, saddle-stitched, Wire-O bound or case bound. Cover options include matte or soft-touch laminate, smooth, vellum and linen papers, UV and aqueous coatings, and gold foil stamping. Our recycled papers come from mills including Mohawk, Monadnock, Rolland and Denmaur.

“Seasons to Bloom” was printed on 80lb text and 100lb cover silk-coated 100% post-consumer recycled paper. “Coast Redwood Atlas of Sound” was bound in a brown linen cover with gold foil stamping.

How ordering works
Send us the trim size, page count, quantity and binding, or describe the book and we will recommend a specification. Many book orders are ready in one to two weeks from file approval. Case-bound books and larger runs can take longer, and we will confirm the date with your quote.

Can you print a small number of books?
Yes. We use digital printing for short runs and offset printing for larger quantities.
Is recycled paper suitable for a book with photographs?
Yes. Coated recycled stocks, such as the silk-coated 100% post-consumer paper used for “Seasons to Bloom”, are suitable for color photography.
Do you offer FSC-certified paper for books?
Yes. FSC-certified recycled papers are available for book interiors and covers.
