HABITZ by Sarah — A Planner Designed to Support Real Change

The Purpose Behind HABITZ by Sarah

HABITZ by Sarah is a brand centered around a mental health–focused planner designed to help people build structure, develop healthy habits, achieve goals, and create meaningful change in their lives. The planner is made for anyone navigating mental health challenges, feeling a little lost, or simply looking for more structure and direction. Its goal is to support growth, improve well-being, and guide users in creating consistent daily routines that lead to long-term success—and ultimately, help them create the life they want and deserve.

My Mental Health Journey

I have been dealing with mental health challenges my entire life, and more serious struggles for a little over half of it. Learning how to manage these challenges has been a long journey—one that took more than a decade to reach where I am today.

I have been deeply involved in the mental health world since I was 12 years old. Over the years, I learned many strategies and tools that support recovery and personal growth. I wanted to create a planner that incorporates what I learned throughout my journey to support both mental health and everyday life. I am proud to say that I am doing better now than I ever have before.

Creating the Planner

This planner was built upon lived experience and developed with guidance from my therapist. Even though I have more than a decade of experience navigating mental health challenges, I am not a professional. For that reason, I worked closely with my therapist to help ensure the planner is as supportive and helpful as possible.

The planner is designed to help you build your foundation, create structure, reflect thoughtfully, improve your mental health, strengthen your mindset, develop consistent habits, increase productivity, achieve your goals, and take deliberate, intentional daily action toward creating the life you want and deserve. At the beginning, users are introduced to key ideas and strategies that help them build the life they want. From there, those ideas can be applied in real time using monthly, weekly, and daily pages designed to be simple, effective, and easy to use.

It took eight months of strategic work to create this planner. I poured my heart and soul into it and I truly believe it can help you. I am also proud to share that I use it myself. I created this planner because I noticed a gap in the industry—there were no planners that met all of my wants and needs, so I decided to create one.

A Unique Perspective on Mental Health

My life experience is different from most. I have been consistently in treatment for my mental health since I was 12, and I am now 23. Through residential treatment, therapeutic day schools, and hospitalizations, I developed a perspective on mental health and recovery that many people may not have.

Through years of therapy, structured treatment programs, time away from home, reading spiritual self-help books and working with therapists who ranged from incredibly helpful to more challenging, I learned what truly supports growth and stability. I created this planner not only for myself, but for anyone who needs the same kind of support.

How This Planner Helps People

The Power of Structure

One of the most important ways this planner supports people is by creating structure. In my experience, structure can be incredibly powerful. During some of the most unstable periods of my life in residential treatment, having a structured day helped keep me moving forward. More recently, I noticed that when my daily life lacked structure, my mental health began to suffer, and adding structure back made a significant difference.

Having a schedule gives your mind something to focus on, helping you stay productive and work toward your goals. It can also help you get out of your head and create a sense of direction. For people dealing with serious mental health challenges, a lack of structure can sometimes leave too much space for instability. Personally, when I have a schedule, I feel more grounded and complete.

This planner provides a simple framework for each day, helping reduce anxiety and overwhelm by giving people clarity about what they can focus on next. When life feels chaotic, having a clear structure can make things far more manageable.

Supporting the Whole Person

The planner also supports multiple areas of life at once. Mental health does not exist in isolation—it is closely connected to daily habits, routines, goals, and personal growth. By bringing these elements together, the planner helps people build a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Building Healthy Habits

The planner encourages the development of healthy routines. Users are guided to work on themselves each day in ways that may include creating a structured schedule for the day, reframing negative thoughts, using coping skills, pursuing goals, practicing affirmations, writing gratitude, meditating, or utilizing manifestation practices. Over time, these consistent actions help build healthy habits that support long-term growth and meaningful change.

Making Goals More Manageable

Goal setting is another important component. Large goals can feel overwhelming and potentially act as an additional barrier. However, breaking them into smaller daily actions makes progress much more achievable. At the same time, the planner encourages users to think about the bigger

picture of the life they want to build. Combining long-term vision with small daily steps helps people stay motivated while steadily moving toward their goals.

Simple and Easy to Use

In this planner, the daily, weekly, and monthly pages are clear, simple, and easy to use, and the education at the beginning provides helpful guidance along the way. The goal is to support people without adding extra stress or confusion.

Because everything is organized clearly and simply in one place, the planner is easy to use and reduces mental strain. It helps you get things out of your head and into a clear plan you can follow.

Encouraging Consistency and Growth

Consistency is another key element. The planner encourages people to consistently practice routines, coping skills, and self-reflection. For example, each day includes space to write down coping strategies used and rate how helpful they were. This helps users recognize what works best for them and continue practicing the tools that support their mental health. It also encourages people to try new strategies and discover what helps them most.

I first learned about coping skills during my first hospitalization at age 12, and over time I realized how important it is to practice them regularly.

Our Mission

Our promise is simple: to provide a planner that supports your whole self—your mind, your habits, and your life. Our goal is to help you create the life you want and deserve, one day at a time.
